Wroth: All Gameplay Bundle (PREORDER)
Wroth is a 1-4 player area control board game that can be played competitively, cooperatively, or solo.
Players choose a faction and vie for control of the island of Wroth by drafting action dice to gain resources, deploying and moving troops, and attacking the opposition - all while trying to hold key positions and dominate the region. Wroth rewards cunning troop management and the clever use of your faction’s elite troops and powerful once-per-game abilities.
Wroth can be taught in 10-15 minutes, and is playable in roughly an hour. Wroth is Chip Theory’s way of bringing their penchant for deep strategy, asymmetry, multiple play modes and beautiful production into a concise and approachable package, all at an affordable entry point. Wroth is the perfect game to pull out at game night, even if you’ve never tried it before!

Paldeyn Faction
The Paldeyn are noble warriors. Their armor gleams in the noonday sun. They stride nobly into battle atop imposing steeds, horse and rider united under a single goal: to drive out those who might dare crest the top of King's Hill. Their shields ar thick and their armor strong. Those who dare to stand up against a Padeyn rider will break upon their iron will.
This faction is a difficult one to take down. They are equipped with more than one way to stick around for the entire show. The Paldeyn ar also the only faction to have a troop that can move 2 regions eachtime it moves. Their swift and flexible movement combined with their penchant for survival make the Paldeyn one of the toughest factions to wipe off the map. Careful planning and maneuvering is usually a better strategy than a straight ahead attack when facing this faction.
Lyon:
Paldeyn's healthiest troops are equipped with a built in heal.
Ryder:
Moving up to 2 regions each tim will allow you to get ot some otherwise difficult regions to reach in a hurry.
Ironwill:
Unique elite troops that force your opponent to attack them first, protecting all other troops that share a region with it!
Feat: Once you get your troops in position, get all your Ironwills into play exactly where you want them.
Venna Faction
The Venna are northland folk, less a people and more of a coven. They provide a safe haven for those exiled from their kingdoms, providing purpose and meaning from the deep magicks of the north woods. However, those who find a new home and place to belong must also make a deal with the darkness. Mastering spells and incantations dredged up from places not spoken of, the Venna resurrect more than just fallen warriors.
The Venna don't mind getting attacked, in fact, they almost welcome it. They ar equiped with multiple tools that come in the form of retaliation and resurrection. Literally they are the only faction that can deploy an endless number of regular troops.
Hag:
Elite troops that have the ability to strike back when attacked.
Acolyte:
Lower cost troop with the ability to add troops when attacked
Cauldron:
Arguably the most important troop for the Venna. Bring out your dead!
Feat: Running low on troops? Bring back even more troops from the dead and in a hurry! RIP to your opponents.
